Soros Fund Management, one of the investment funds of billionaire George Soros, is currently quite open to Bitcoin transactions.
According to the TheStreet, Dawn Fitzpatrick, Chief Investment Officer of Soros Fund Management, has given the green light to trading Bitcoin and possibly other cryptocurrencies over the past few weeks.
In addition to being open to Bitcoin trading, Soros Fund Management may also be negotiating to buy back shares of blockchain companies.
“Fitzpatrick and his associates have been working on cryptocurrencies for a while. Opening the door to Bitcoin trading is the beginning of plans to expand into the crypto market,” a source said.
Recently, Fitzpatrick has often praised Bitcoin. In March, she said that cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin could see more adoption in the future.
