Soros Fund Management, one of the investment funds of billionaire George Soros, is currently quite open to Bitcoin transactions.

According to the TheStreet, Dawn Fitzpatrick, Chief Investment Officer of Soros Fund Management, has given the green light to trading Bitcoin and possibly other cryptocurrencies over the past few weeks.

In addition to being open to Bitcoin trading, Soros Fund Management may also be negotiating to buy back shares of blockchain companies.

“Fitzpatrick and his associates have been working on cryptocurrencies for a while. Opening the door to Bitcoin trading is the beginning of plans to expand into the crypto market,” a source said.

Recently, Fitzpatrick has often praised Bitcoin. In March, she said that cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin could see more adoption in the future.

The news of billionaire George Soros’ investment fund entering the Bitcoin market has excited many famous figures in the crypto world.

George Soros, 90 years old, is a Hungarian-American billionaire and investor. As of May 2020, Soros’s net worth reached $8.3 billion.

Soros Fund Management is one of a number of funds behind the $200 million grant by the New York Digital Investment Group, or NYDIG.

NYDIG Co-Founder and CEO, Robert Gutmann, said the grant is proof that institutional Bitcoin adoption is on the rise.
