Step 1: You select the image (Bird image) to create a link -> select tab Animations -> select Add Animation -> and then choose effects for photos.
Step 2: After you create the effect for the image, in the section Advanced Animation you choose to continue Trigger -> select On Click of -> and then select the puzzle name.
So that you have created the link, now you can test run the slideshow and click on the bricks -> the image will appear immediately. If the slides have many bricks and many images, you also do the same as instructed.

With PowerPoint 2007 when creating links in slides will work a bit different
Assuming you still use the same shapes and images, follow these steps to add links in PowerPoint 2007.
Step 1: You select the image to link -> then go to the tab Animation -> select Custom Animation to interface Custom Animation.
Step 2: Display Custom Animation appears on the right hand side -> you choose Add Effect -> and then select the effect you want the image to appear.
Step 3: You will see the effect name in Custom Animation -> you choose the opposite triangle -> and then select Timing.
Step 4: Appearance dialog box Blinds -> you choose Triggers -> select Start effect on click of -> and then select the name of the puzzle to add a link.
Finally, click OK, got it to finish, and you click F5 Make a slideshow to see the results.

The demo below we use PowerPoint 2010, you can do the same on PowerPoint 2016, 2013, 2007
Step 1: You select (highlight text) or select the shape you want to create the link -> then go to Insert -> select Hyperlink (can press keyboard shortcuts Ctrl + K) or right-click to select Hyperlink.
Step 2: Display Insert Hyperlink appears -> here, you have 4 options to link as follows:
– Existing File or Web Page: Used to link to files or web pages.
– Place in This Document: Used to link to any slide in PowerPoint file.
– Create New Document: Used to link to a newly created folder.
– Email Address: Used to link to email address.
In the interface Insert Hyperlink above, you need to create any link, you just need to select on that section to add links.
Example 1: Create links to slides in PowerPoint such as:
In Insert Hyperlink -> you choose Place in This Document, part Select a place in this document -> select the slide to which you want to link -> then click OK, got it are you finished.
Example 2: Create links to other websites
In Insert Hyperlink -> you choose Existing File or Web page -> Then enter the website address Address -> finally press OK, got it to create the link.
