Usually with wireless technology, it’s hard to find a fix when something goes wrong and Apple’s AirPods are no exception. AirPods are designed to work smoothly with all supported devices Bluetooth Apple, but they don’t always work 100% perfectly.
An especially annoying problem that can sometimes occur is that an AirPod occasionally disconnects or stops working completely for no apparent reason. If you have encountered this error, follow the measures below to resolve it.
How to fix AirPods not working
1. Charge the battery and try again
The first thing you should try is putting them back in the case and making sure the AirPods are fully charged. Then remove them from the case and try again. This fixes most problems, so it should be the first method you need to apply.
2. Reset AirPods
If you put the AirPods in the case and charge and it still doesn’t work, you should try resetting them by doing the following:
Step 1: Insert both AirPods into the charging case. If both AirPods receive normal charging, continue with step 2. If not, you’ll need help from Apple Support.
Step 2: After charging, one side of the AirPod still doesn’t make the sound you need to enter Settings> Bluetooth on iPhone.
Step 3: Touch the icon Info (i) next to your AirPods.
Step 4: Choose Forget This Device and confirm action.
Step 5: Put the AirPods back on the charging case and close the lid, wait for 30 seconds and open the case cover.
Step 6: Hold down the power button until you see the light.
Step 7: While the AirPods are still in the case, place them near the device and reconnect by following the instructions on the screen.
Either way will resolve the problem of AirPods not working. If that doesn’t work, you’ll need to clean your AirPods and contact Apple Support.
